This UX/UI case study focuses on a redesign of Libby, a popular library reading app, with the goal of enhancing user accessibility, navigation clarity, and overall user satisfaction. The project began with a comprehensive audit of the existing interface, identifying pain points such as inconsistent iconography, overwhelming layout structure, and limited accessibility features. The redesign introduces a streamlined navigation system, improved hierarchy, and visually cohesive design elements that prioritize clarity and ease of use. Typography and spacing were adjusted to support readability across devices, while microinteractions were refined to create a more intuitive and responsive user experience. The case study presents a full user flow—from discovery to checkout—reimagined through wireframes, UI components, and interactive prototypes. The final concept offers a more inclusive and engaging platform, reinforcing Libby’s mission of making reading more accessible to all users through thoughtful, user-centered design.
